Tell us a little bit about yourself and your current role at VIAVI?

I have been working with VIAVI for about four years. My role gives me the opportunity to strategize and manage our go-to market in a specific geography (North LATAM) with particular challenges that ignite creativity and keen awareness to think out of the box.  I’m responsible for direct sales as well as channel partners sales. Every day I work to take partner challenges head-on and move forward with opportunities keeping sales targets top of mind and staying motivated front and center.

As a channel manager I collaborate with important resources outside of our organization that evolves from business planning and weekly commitments to currency exchange planning, local and remote services logistics turning my day-to day an exciting dynamic environment.

Tell us about your favorite hobby and what skills or qualities it enables you to bring to your role at VIAVI.

My favorite sport/hobby is CrossFit.  As I face unpredictable “almost-impossible” routines in the “box” every morning, it represents a real-live training right before my day starts. Like I say to myself in the gym … it is only you, vs. you.  That single phrase is a daily reminder that there is always a possible way to experience breakthrough.  CrossFit enables creativity, resilience and problem-solving mindset needed in my role at VIAVI.

Favorite project that I’m working on:

I am now working on a TPA project that is essentially challenging our customer’s fiber construction, acceptance, and maintenance process with positive impact to multiple areas of their operation as we are proposing our Test Process Automation solution.  As VIAVI Solutions continue to innovate, we are in the best position to contribute with our channel partners and customer to find better way to do more with less.  This is one of my favorite projects as it adds value in both qualitative and quantitative ways to our customer.
