Tell us a little bit about yourself and your current role at VIAVI?
I joined VIAVI in 2019, but it feels like I have been here longer in the best way possible! I am based in Beijing and proudly serve as the Greater China Marketing Manager. In my current role, I plan and execute all VIAVI marketing activities in the Greater China Region. Our customer-guided approach centers on keeping our customers engaged and captivated by our products and solutions.

Press & Advertising: Where we share press releases and ads across media channels communicating the latest fiber test solutions throughout China

I work closely with the sales team and the product/technical support teams. This collaboration of cross-functional teams paves the way for in-depth reviews of current market trends which inform the development of and the ability to build creative activities that help enable and drive our business from the lab to the field.
One of my favorite products I like to promote is the newest 5G and 400G/800G fiber optic test products and of course the best part is bringing those solutions to market!
Tell us about your favorite hobby and what skills or qualities it enables you to bring to your role at VIAVI.
Two sports that I enjoy are badminton and swimming! Both sports are ones where you need to keep a rhythm to be successful. I bring this skill to my marketing work. Each day my work is very complicated and I am constantly multi-tasking. On any given day there are product releases and many events and activities. I not only benefit from following a good strategy plan, but keeping a rhythm going helps me to achieve market targets.
