How long have you been with VIAVI, and what do you do here?

It all started when I worked for four years as a partner for VIAVI when it was known as (JDSU) and then now it’s been nine years at VIAVI. I lead the Sales organization for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region and my role also includes managing direct business development with key customers and Channel partner management.

Describe the best part about how your role positively impacts customers and/or partners?

I am a people person and so I enjoy dealing with people whether they are customers, partners or VIAVI internal teams. Through the years I have built a very good network of “people” who trust in me to be there for them, supporting, helping, creating plans and executing solutions for the overall win. I have always believed that great people to people relationships drive the Win-Win-Win equation making a business team successful.

What do you think sets VIAVI apart from other global solutions companies?

VIAVI is always focusing on how to utilize technology leadership and global best practices to be the best fit enabling visibility and solutions-to-the field for our customers and partners. Our sales teams are there to pivot when necessary and enable customers to scale, develop and pioneer the solution. I have seen time and again that even when the circumstances are stacked against in the development phase or the field, VIAVI is ready to be part of the solution to provide the edge and actually solve the issue.
