Cotener shares what it means to be Viavi's Velocity Pinnacle Award Winner

Cotener, our strategic Velocity partner in Peru, was crowned as Viavi’s first Velocity Pinnacle Award winner during last year’s Global Sales University (GSU). For this achievement, Viavi hosted a dinner for 10 of Cotener’s employees attended by Viavi Sales executives. The Cotener and Viavi teams decided to hold the dinner in Miami in May while both teams were gathering to attend Viavi’s LATAM Channel Partner Training.

Smith & Wollensky in Miami Beach was the venue for the dinner where Jaime Piddo, Cotener’s owner, explained what it means to Cotener to be a Pinnacle Award winner:

“This award acknowledges of our commitment to Viavi and inspires us even more to keep growing together into new markets and opportunities.”

He expressed his gratitude to Caio Donega, his Viavi channel account manager, the Viavi LATAM channel team and his own team of engineers. He spoke about his commitment to Viavi and attributed some of Cotener’s success to the fact that they have direct access to Viavi engineers who take his team’s feedback and make sure they are thoroughly trained before going out to conduct equipment demos. He also noted how pleased he is that the teams’ joint efforts paid off in Cotener winning the Pinnacle Award.

Jaime started Cotener 8 years ago as a one man show and through partnering with Viavi for the past 5 years, they have expanded to staff several full-time engineers allowing him to take on more projects and cover much more ground.
